In spite of the growing emphasis on pluralism in Canadian society, Christian thought and morality still pervade most of our public institutions. Our country's emphasis on justice, fairness, and freedom are deeply Christian concepts.
Providence Theological Seminary is an evangelical interdenominational school that trains people for church and para-church ministries in the areas of counselling, education, global studies, Bible and theology, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and pastoral ministry. It offers accredited graduate degrees at the masters and doctoral level. Providence graduates serve in various church and humanitarian ministries in all parts of the world and have gone on to various prestigious advanced degree programs in Canada and abroad.
The Providence English Language Institute teaches English language skills to foreign students at three levels in preparation for academic study in both the College and the Seminary.
