Alumni Student Bursary, Tuition Discount

Graduates of Providence University College or Providence Theological Seminary are eligible to receive an Alumni Student Bursary, applicable for one course per semester, in the school of which they are a graduate. Not all programs or courses are eligible for this bursary. This bursary may be applied toward 100% of the tuition costs of one audit course per semester, or 50% of the tuition cost of one credit course per semester. Bursaries for Future Students

If you know of a prospective student who might consider attending Providence University College & Theological Seminary, you can provide financial assistance by applying for an Alumni Bursary on their behalf. There are only 20 Alumni Bursaries available and the deadline for bursary applications is April 1, or until 10 valid applications are received. This one time $500 bursary is available to new students entering Providence University College & Theological Seminary. An additional $250 is available should the student choose to live in residence. Bursary application must be completed by Alumni on student’s behalf before student applies. Access to the Providence Library

The Library offers access to ATLA Religion Database for free. They offer one a year library membership – i.e. one can sign out our books for $20.00 per individual OR if one person on a church staff is an alumni, all can sign out books for $25.00 ($40.00 for non alumni). Contact Terry Kennedy.

Providence Accommodation / Rentals

If you need overnight accommodation while visiting Providence or in the Otterburne area please contact Dan McLeod at (204) 433-7488 ext. 239 to check out our affordable accommodation.

If you are planning a wedding or wanting to hold a church or leadership function, why not host it at Providence? Our Reimer Student Life Centre and many other campus buildings can be rented to host groups from five to five hundred. Dan McLeod at (204) 433-7488 ext. 239 is available to assist you to make this event a memorable one.

Awards and Recognition

Providence University College and Providence Theological Seminary awards the “Alumni of the Year” Award to a Providence University College and/or Providence Theological Seminary graduate who has shown commitment to God through the years in the way they have lived their life and has made a significant contribution to the church and society through their profession and/or as a volunteer.

The Alumni of the Year Award is granted to one Seminary Alumni each year and one University College Alumni every second year.

Transcript fees must be paid before the transcript request will be processed.  Official transcripts are $10. each.  There are additional charges for express post or courier options.  Official transcripts bear the signature of the Registrar and the seal of the institution.  Unofficial transcripts are free and do not bear a signature or seal.
