Student Development Department

Resident Director: Male (Full-time)

The male Resident Director works within the Student Development department at Providence University College and Seminary as part of the Residence Life team and is responsible for the day to day management of the male residences.  Duties include:  mentoring, training and supervision of male student leaders (Resident Assistants), building relationships with resident students, holistic programming, discipline and restorative justice initiatives, conflict resolution, resident room placement, administration, crisis management, etc.

 A Master’s degree in Student Development, Counselling, or another related field is preferred but not essential.

 The Resident Director is required to live on campus in the apartment that is provided for them.  In addition to a competitive salary, the Resident Director will receive Room and Board.  This is a 9½-month contract position (July 16, 2015 – April 30, 2016) with a 37.5 hours per week work schedule. This position is reviewed on an annual basis.

Enrollment Office

Enrollment Officer (Full-time)

The Enrollment Management Department invites applications for the position of Enrollment Officer. Candidates with a strong Christian value system and lifestyle, and a commitment to Christ-centered University education are encouraged to apply.   

The Enrollment Officer position is a full-time, 12-month position.  The Enrollment Officer plays an active and important part in the work of the Enrollment Management Office as the primary contact between the future student and the institution throughout the application process.

Applicants should have a commitment to Christian higher education; have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, customer service attitude, team-player attitude, strong organizational and detail management skills, and a high degree of personal initiative. Must be prepared to organize own schedule and work independently.  They should also be familiar with the programs of Providence University College, Mile Two Discipleship School, and Providence Theological Seminary.

Head Coach, Women’s Soccer

Providence Athletics is currently seeking a dynamic leader to join the Providence Coaching Staff in the position of Head Coach for Women’s Soccer. The Head Coach will be responsible for leading our women’s varsity soccer program to help achieve our mission of providing student-athletes with an environment that fosters academic success, Christ-centered personal growth, and athletic excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable coaching experience at the college level by joining one of Manitoba’s leading college athletic programs as we currently compete in the MCAC and NCCAA. Providence Athletics has a tradition of success and is looking for a coach who can continue this tradition.
