Providence University College & Seminary invites applicants with a demonstrated track record of recruitment and yield of new students to apply for the position, Director of Admissions.
Working within the department of Enrollment Management and Student Success, this is a full-time position overseeing and providing direct strategic leadership to the admissions functions of Providence.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (min. requirement), demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, be able to direct a highly successful admissions team, and work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have the ability to articulate the value of a Christ-centred university education and graduate theological education.
A valid driver's license, willingness to travel (approx. 5%) and ability to work occasional evenings or weekends is critical to this position. The successful candidate will work closely with Enrollment Management and Student Success personnel to assist in planning and implementing strategies to meet or exceed new student enrollment goals, ensuring consistency in procedures, while upholding Providence admission standards.
The Director of Admissions supervises a staff of seven Admissions personnel, providing leadership, direction, research, and planning for all recruitment and admission efforts. Related experience in a leadership position within the admission and recruiting field of higher education is preferred.
Anticipated start date is July 1, 2013. This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
