Full-Length Production - Schoolhouse (High School Matinee) Students: $3.00 By reservation only. Set in the late 1930s, Schoolhouse tells the story of Miss Linton, a novice teacher who faces the challenge of educating an unruly but delightful group of children in a one-room schoolhouse in rural central Canada. The arrival of a troubled teenager with a mysterious past begins an educational journey that Miss Linton could never have anticipated. Warm, funny, and poignant, Schoolhouse chronicles one teacher’s struggle to connect with a boy who has cut himself off from everyone, and to persuade a resistant community to welcome the outsider they fear. The story explores themes of rejection, compassion, damage, and hope.
