The Manitoba Chamber Orchestra has arranged for Dr. Karen Sunabacka give a presentation on February 11^th at 7:30 about her newest piece - Born by the River as part of McNally Robinson’s Meet the Composer series (presentation will be in the Atrium at McNally Robinson, Grant Park). She will talk about this newly commissioned piece (inspiration and compositional techniques) along with some discussion of her previous compositions and her experiences of being a composer. The Manitoba Chamber Orchestra will be premiering the piece during their concert on Tuesday February 19^th at 7:30pm at Westminster United Church.
