Providence women’s volleyball team in NCCAA National Championship semi-final
The Providence Pilots women’s volleyball team will face Oklahoma’s Randall University in a National Christian College Athletic Conference (NCCAA) National Championship semi-final on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
With a win the ladies, who are so far unbeaten at the Kissimmee, Florida tournament, will progress to Saturday’s final against either Maranatha Baptist University out of Wisconsin or Kentucky Christian University.
The Pilots opened their schedule on Thursday with a straight-sets victory over Manhattan Christian College of Kansas and followed up the triumph with a 3-1 defeat of Texas-based Arlington Baptist College. Earlier Friday Providence dispatched Kentucky Christian University in four sets.
The semi-final will be played on the main court at Kissimmee Civic Center and can be streamed LIVE.
Maranatha is the reigning NCCAA Division II champions, having edged Providence in last year’s final.
