2011 Student Entrepreneur CompetitionJordan Siemens, the Providence business student who won the provincial entrepreneurship championship last month has been declared the co-winner of the western regional championships. From the ACE website: ” ACE NAMES 2011 WESTERN CANADA REGIONAL CHAMPIONS” excerpt: “Post secondary students who balance a full-time course load and a full-time business competed in the Student Entrepreneur Competition, and two regional champions were named: 2011 Student Entrepreneur Competition “Every year, our students continue to amaze us with their dedication and determination to become leaders, create connections and build a better Canada”, explains ACE President Amy Harder. “Due to this ongoing commitment, we know the future of this country is in good hands.” Regional champions will move on to the national level of competition, taking place from May 9th to 11th at the 2011 ACE National Exposition in Toronto, ON. “ What is ACE? From their website: Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship or ACE is a national, charitable organization dedicated to teaching and igniting young Canadians to create brighter futures for themselves and their communities. Jordan is nearing the end of his freshman year at Providence in its Business Administration program. Last summer he received the Buller Centre’s Entrepreneurship Bursary.
