Conference Urges Care for Soul in Busy World

Dr Rolf Nolasco, Associate Professor of Counselling at Providence Seminary, will lead a seminar on contemplation at a conference sponsored by the Professional Association of Canadian Christian Counsellors of Canada. The conference with the theme of soul care will be held May 12-15 in Banff.

Dr Nolasco has recently published The Contemplative Counselor with Fortress Press. The seminar will be three hours and will comprise a teaching component regarding contemplation, a time to be able to practice, as well as a debriefing period to come together and talk about the experience with the group, adds Brian Argue, a Providence alumnus and coordinator for the conference program.
