Sodexo Canada has provided excellence in Food Services at Providence since 1991. Food Services are housed in the Reimer Student Life Centre. They offer three full course meals, six days a week, and a brunch and supper on Saturdays. Sodexo Food Services is designed around platform dining which allows more options to the student for their meal and diet choices. The following are some of the food stations included in our platform dining: stir-fry station, grill, sandwich bar, main entree station, dessert bar, ice cream station, salad and soup bar, drink station, cereal station, etc. In addition to the dining room Sodexo Canada operates a small canteen, which offers daily lunch items and snacks.

The Director of Food Services encourages students to offer menu suggestions and feedback through customer comment cards as well as surveys each semester, in order to maintain a high standard of product and service quality. In the most recent survey (Fall 2011) students expressed their opinion regarding the food, service and atmosphere. In each area, students gave high ratings which resulted in an overall score of 5.7 out of 7 which is labelled as “Very Good.” Service and atmosphere were rated especially high. Students in higher education have high expectations for food services and Sodexo has listened to Providence students and succeeded in meeting these expectations. We believe that our food services are 'second to none'.

In addition to serving students, Providence also welcomes the public to come and enjoy our food services.
