Adjunct Faculty Member Published Poem
"Train of hearts"
Providence University College is proud to announce that adjunct faculty member Luann Hiebert recently published her poem “Train of hearts” in the Society. Luann teaches English literature at the University College and is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Manitoba where her research focuses on twentieth century prairie women poets. Signature qualities in her writing include whimsical wordplay (homonyms, puns, sense-altering/exploring syllable divisions and line breaks) and a creative use of space that makes her work visually distinctive and appealing. the Society is affiliated with St. Peter’s College and the University of Saskatchewan, and “celebrates extraordinary work by both established and emerging artists and writers from across Canada.” Luann’s “Train of hearts” is part of the April 2012 edition.
