Will Week 2012 - April 23-27

Providence University College and Theological Seminary is concerned that Christians have a will. Without a will, much of the wealth that Christians accumulate in the form of a business, real estate, savings, or RRSPs will go to pay taxes. Providence supports the work of the Winnipeg Foundation in hosting Will Week, April 23-27, 2012.

In partnership with the Manitoba Bar Association and the Office of the Public Trustee, The Winnipeg Foundation is pleased to once again host Will Week.

Will Week is an annual initiative providing free estate planning seminars led by professionals working in Wills and estate-planning. Each professional generously donates their time and expertise to present the 2 hour session, including information on:
• Why you need a valid, up-to-date Will, an enduring Power of Attorney and a Health Care Directive.
• How to ensure your wishes for your family and community are met.
• How you can support the community with a charitable gift in your Will.

Seminars are free on a first come, first served basis. There is a French-only session and a session for families of special needs survivors. Seating in some venues is limited. Please register in advance, call 204.948.3394 in Winnipeg or email the Office of the Public Trustee.

The program is a public service and seminars are for information purposes only.
