Top Ten
2012-10-10
The Top 10 Rankings were released on Wednesday and Providence is climbing up the charts!
The men’s soccer team jumped up to the #4 spot in nation, 2 spots higher than last week. Playing well last weekend in Iowa sparked the climb in the rankings.
On the women’s side, Providence earned the #8 ranking, 1 spot higher than last week. Also with a good showing in Iowa, the women showed they belong in the top 10.
Both teams are gearing up for a big week where they will be play in the MCAC championships (October 20+21) followed by regionals (October 23+24) 2 days later.
The women’s volleyball team also ascended up the rankings by 1 spot grabbing the #6 ranking. Going undefeated at their home invitational(5-0), Providence improved to 13-3 on the season and will look to improve their ranking as they head down to Dallas this weekend.
