Summer Plans?

Providence Seminary student Christeena Nienhuis plans to be on her bike a lot this summer. A graduate student in the Global Studies program, Nienhuis will be participating in the 2013 Sea to Sea Bike Tour which will see her trekking across North America. The 3,900 - mile ride, designed to raise awareness and funds in support of those living in poverty around the world, starts in Los Angeles on June 22nd and ends in New York City on August 24th, 2013. The challenge includes nine weeks on the road, cycling an average of 68 miles per day, and resting only on Sundays.

Providence takes pride in seeing our students active in the community. Christeena's activity this summer embodies the compassion and drive of our students, and we wish her the best on her incredible journey!
