The Master of Divinity (Professional) Anglican Studies Track
This track within the Master of Divinity (Professional) program allows students discerning a call to ordination in an Anglican community to work toward a Providence Master of Divinity while receiving Anglican-specific courses in theology, history and spirituality. In cooperation with St. John's College in Winnipeg (Anglican College at the University of Manitoba), Providence offers an Anglican Studies track within the M. Div. (Professional). The foundational courses are offered by Providence, with St. John's College providing the Anglican distinctive courses (19 credit hours). Students who graduate from the Anglican Studies track will receive the Master of Divinity degree from Providence. This degree will contribute to qualifications for Anglican ministerial credentials. This M.Div. is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools. An ideal combination of interdenominational and ecumenical study with a uniquely Anglican focus, this degree provides solid ministerial training for potential postulants and ordinands alike.
