Winter 2016 Registration

Providence Student Portal

The Providence Student Portal can be used to access grades, transcripts, billing statements and degree progress.  Otterburne students will also use the Portal to register for regular session Otterburne classes.  

Student Portal login instructions will be mailed to new students.  Please contact the Registrar's Office if you have not received your login by the start of the registration period.

You must be a current student, returning student or accepted student to register.

Registration Procedures

 

Where to register

Students can register from any computer with internet access.

For your convenience, there is a web kiosk available in the Registrar's Office on the Providence campus during regular business hours, 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Office staff will be available to guide you through the online registration process.

 

When to Register

Registration for the Winter 2016 semester is OPEN. Students are encouraged to register as early as possible.

Registration deadlines:

Regular session Otterburne courses Open
Alberta courses, Online courses, or Otterburne Intersession modules Open
Independent/Directed Study courses May be requested at any time throughout the year

Students are encouraged to register online as soon as possible to ensure they can register for limited enrollment courses.

Students should be aware of the Seminary Winter 2016 course change policy:

  • Deadline to add or drop courses (using the student portal) without a fee: January 11-18, 2016

  • Deadline to add or drop courses (using a paper course change form in the Registrar's Office) with a fee: January 19-25, 2016

    Deadline to voluntarily withdraw from a Winter 2016 course (Seminary only): February 22, 2016

 

Academic Advising

Academic Advising is an important part of the registration process.  It is the student's responsibility to ensure all degree requirements for graduation are met, but academic advisors are here to help.  Go to our Academic Advising page for more information.
